The initial step involves setting up your "Options Page." In order to do so, you will need to input specific details. Maximus will have already configured some of the items listed below for your convenience. Nevertheless, if you prefer to utilize alternative services, you have the flexibility to modify the entries.

Change Colors

You can change the colors and the background colors of your application instantly. Just click the blue “Change Colors” button and then you will see the color picker appear. Once you select your colors you will see your trim and background instantly change throughout your application.

Change Logo

Start personalizing your application with a logo. Keep you logo square and no more than 300 X 300 pixels so that it loads fast on different browsers. Additionally, your logo will become your favicon in browsers and short cut buttons on mobile devices. Additionally, your logo will be on your letterheads and invoices that you generate within your application. It may take several hours for propagation for the logo to change everything so be patient.

Site Name

Usually the site name will be the name of your company. However, if you have a different website name then enter that. There will be a place to enter the Company name further down the page.

Tag Line

The next thing that you want to enter is your tag line. Like “Best in the Business” or “Service This County”. Whatever it is make it relevant to your business. This is also good for Search Engine Optimization.

Meta Description

The meta description is for the robot crawlers that crawl your site in order to index it. It would be wise to mention your location or city name and what you do. This tool is for the search engines to index you well.

Web Address

Put in your full website address here. You will have to make sure that you have a SSL Secure Socket Layer in your web address it must start with a https: NOT http: Any website that has forms and especially processes payments must be encrypted. DO NOT leave a trailing slash “/” in the website address, it will mess up the paths to scripts that are needed for efficient operation.

Time Zone

Select your time zone. This is important for scheduling things on your application. For example scheduled invoices, late fees, posts and more. Choose the time zone that you are in.

Mail Server URL

You will have to have an email server that can handle thousands of emails. From the contact communication with drivers, customers and more you will use a lot of resources. For testing purposes you could use Gmail, Ymail and others but you will need an email server with unlimited email capabilities. The mail server URL is the URL that is provided to you by your email provider. It might be something like mail.email.com or something like that. Everything having to do with email will be set up for you by Maximus from A1WEBSITEPRO LLC so you do not have to worry about it, this is just for reference purposes.

Mail Server Username

Your mail server username might be an email address like mail@email.com however there are times when a username is not an email address. You must use an email address in this field.

Mail Server Password

This is the password to your mail-server.
