How This Works

This is very simple. On your options page set the price of how much you would like to receive for 1000 views. You might want to start with something like $33 per 1000 views and as you get more people purchasing views you can raise the price to match the market demand. Furthermore, if you do not want to sell advertising then set that at 0 and no advertising will take place within your application.

Users Advertise

Once you have a price set when a user logs in they will see a new link to advertise with you in their account settings. When they click the link “Create An Ad Here” it will take them to a page where they can create an advertisement. They will then enter a title, a description possibly with graphics. Finally, they will put in a dollar amount and the system will calculate how many views they will receive as they adjust the dollar amount up or down.

Approval

When a user creates an advertisement it does not go live right away. You will have to approve, disapprove or delete the ad altogether in the content section. When you get to the content section of your dashboard you will see a link on the left for “User Ads”. After clicking on “User Ads” you will then be brought to a page where you can see all the ads and users that want to advertise on your platform. Here you can see an overview of all the ads.

The ones that say, “This ad is waiting for approval” are the new ones that you will have to decide weather or not to approve. To see the ad in it’s entirety click on the date that is linked with the ad. You will have 3 options when it comes to an ad. Approve it, Disapprove it or delete it altogether. Let’s talk about what happens when these options are selected.

Approve

Upon the approval of an advertisement, our system initiates a seamless invoicing process, with the user receiving an invoice promptly. It's essential to note that the advertisement will not commence until the user settles the invoice, ensuring a payment-based activation.

Once the invoice is paid, the ad seamlessly joins the queue for display. As our system cycles through previously shown ads and their allotted views are exhausted, the next ad in the queue takes its place. This cycle continues until the specified views for the ad have been fulfilled, at which point the ad gracefully exits the system.

It's worth mentioning that our system is designed to showcase a maximum of two ads simultaneously, optimizing user experience and ensuring effective exposure. Users have the added benefit of monitoring the performance of their ads, including the number of views, directly from their accounts.

Disapprove

In the event that you need to disapprove an ad, perhaps due to a misspelling or an inadvertent error, our system offers a straightforward process. Following the disapproval, an automated email notification is dispatched to the user, informing them of the ad's status and the need for revision.

Users are then provided with the opportunity to make necessary adjustments to their ad. Once they have refined and revised the ad to meet the required standards, it is resubmitted for your approval. Importantly, the invoicing process is only initiated when an ad successfully receives approval, ensuring a streamlined and efficient workflow.

Delete Ad

If you delete an ad, there will be no invoice created and the ad will simply disappear. There will be a notification sent to the user stating that their ad has been deleted and they can try again if they wish. Furthermore, only active users can advertise on the system. They are warned not to upload anything illegal otherwise their account will be suspended.

Where Will The Ads Be Shown

These ads will be shown on your post pages, listing pages, emails and invoices.
