EDITING A ROUTE

When you need to edit a route, you can conveniently search for it and select the specific route you want to modify. To facilitate easy access, a list of your active routes is displayed in breadcrumbs across the top of the page.

It's important to note that we do not provide the ability to delete routes. The reason behind this decision is to ensure that important information remains accessible for reference and billing purposes. By keeping the routes intact, you can easily access historical records when needed.

However, you have the option to make a route inactive. This allows you to exclude the route from appearing in the breadcrumbs across the top of the page. While the route remains in your system for record-keeping purposes, marking it as inactive helps streamline the navigation and focus on currently active routes.

By offering the ability to make routes inactive instead of deleting them, we strike a balance between maintaining valuable records and ensuring an organized and efficient user experience.

Additionally, when you enter any route you will see a list of printing options.

• Print All Unpaid Invoices From Route

• Print All Mailing Labels from Route

• Print a General Customer List from Route

• See Map

• Route Tracking

Furthermore you can see a map of all your customers on the route and if the driver signed in to the route you can see their locations throughout the day.

Start With Address

In the "Start With Address" form field, you may initially see a number. However, directly across from it, you will find the customer's name and address. The number displayed represents the customer's unique ID number in our application.

If you need to change the starting address, simply remove the existing number and start typing in the "Start With Address" field. This field allows you to enter the desired address for the route.

By providing this functionality, we enable you to easily update the starting address by typing in the new address directly into the field. This flexible approach allows for efficient and accurate route management within our application.

End With Address

Similar to the "Start With Address" form field, the "End With Address" form field functions in the same way. If you need to update the ending address, you can easily do so by removing the customer number and typing in the new address.

To update the ending address, simply delete the existing customer number from the "End With Address" form field. Once cleared, you can start typing in the new address to specify the desired endpoint of the route.

This user-friendly approach ensures that you have the flexibility to easily modify the ending address by directly inputting the updated information. It streamlines the process of managing route details within our application, making it efficient and convenient for you.

This flexibility allows you to provide updates, additional instructions, or any relevant notes related to the route. By allowing both managers and drivers to modify the comments, it ensures effective communication and enables seamless collaboration between team members.

Whether you need to make edits or add new information, this feature empowers you to conveniently manage and update the comments associated with each route.

Other Options Included On This Page

You will notice that we included some other option towards the top of this page. This makes it easy for you to access these features just with a click.

Viewing Map Of Route

Towards the top of the Edit Route page, you will find a link to view a map of the route. This map provides a visual representation of the route by plotting markers at each customer's location. You can zoom in and out on the map to get a closer look at specific areas. Hovering over a marker will reveal the customer's name and street address. By clicking on a marker, you will be directed to that customer's profile page, where you can make any necessary edits to their information.

Furthermore, on this page, you have the ability to customize the order in which the driver executes the route. You can easily rearrange the sequence by dragging and dropping the stops into the desired order. However, if you prefer an alternative method to reorder the stops, there is a link available that will take you to another page. On that page, you can assign consecutive numbers to the stops, specifying the desired execution order.

This combination of features provides you with flexibility and convenience in managing the route. The map visualization enhances understanding and navigation, while the drag and drop functionality or numerical ordering option allows you to customize the sequence of stops based on your preferences.
